BELIEFS

PORT CHARLOTTE INTERNATIONAL CHURCH

“We are a destiny-friendly environment for all people.”

We are united as a family to help each other identify, and prepare to actually fulfill, our God-ordained destiny in life.

WE believe that there is a higher order to life than chance, fate, human effort and human wisdom.

We believe that the mystery of God and His relevance to our lives was clarified by Jesus Christ.

We believe that God has a good plan for every human being and that fulfilling this plan is God's will.

We believe that finding, pursuing, experiencing and living out God's plan is what the joy, purpose and success of life is all about.

We believe that the birth, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of Man and Son of God, makes it possible for every human being to live this way.

We believe that being joined or connected to a local group of believers (a local Church) is the desire of God to help every human being to become what He created them to be.

We believe that a Godly Church is one where the Bible is accepted as the inerrant Word of God, and the Holy Spirit is respected as our Present Helper in this journey and Jesus Christ is honored as Savior, Lord and the head of the Church; and where a Pastor and a team of leaders serve the believers through the preaching of the word of God, leading, caring, teaching, praying and equipping them for the work of the ministry.

We believe that the local church is more than a gathering place, it is an operations center for Kingdom planning and execution of the Father’s will to “rescue the perishing and care for the dying.”

We believe in the imminent second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and the glorious transformation of the earthly the heavenly and in the eternal and complete reign of the Kingdom of God.

3.      DEPLOYMENT : To help members of Port Charlotte International Church to fulfill the plan of God for their lives through personal ministry, Kingdom connections; resourcing; vocational and ministry training; church planting; sending; Shareholders in Life and Community Service Agency Inc., ministry development; providing spiritual covering, support and accountability.

We focus on encouraging the unsaved to be saved from missing out on experiencing life (and life after death) the way God planned it; and to help the saints to become what God created them to be. Being a faithful and committed member of a Godly local church is central to finding and fulfilling God's will for our lives.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6

The blessing is not in being hungry. It is not about simply praying about he hunger, or singing and developing a spiritual life around the hunger. The blessings is being “fully filled”, being and living from a place of right standing with God.

This is not Church as usual. We exist to:

1). Equip you to carry out your individual assignment on the earth

2). Teach the Word of God for the renewal & transformation of our minds, so we that can experience life the way God meant it.

3). Provide fellowship, friendships and valuable relationships for God’s honor.

4). Train, teach and serve the spiritual needs of the children, youth and young adults, adults and seniors.

5). Advance the Kingdom of God locally, regionally and globally through united and corporative initiatives and the demonstrative power of the Holy Spirit.

Our work is based on our commitment to the original intent of Christ when He birthed the Church and sent the Holy Spirit to be her helper, teacher and guide. Jesus Christ remains the Head of the Church. He is the head of PCIC. The Church is God’s agency for change on the earth. If you really want to impact the world for good, then you should join hands and heart with the Church at the local level.

 So Why the local level?

1). The scripture instructs to be witnesses of Christ Jesus in Jerusalem (where you live) and then to other regions. If it isn’t working at home, why export it? Make it work in your hometown.

2). Christ, the Head of the Church, has set leaders at the local level to help, to teach the scriptures and serve mankind.  Ephesians 4:10-14 explains that the purpose of leaders in the Church is to  help believers to grow spiritually, and to protect them from being “tossed about and carried by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men  ...”

3. Also consider the fact that “one can chase a thousand, but two ten thousand!” The Church has a greater opportunity to impact the community for Good; when we united with its vision and mission. And we need that today, more than ever before.

Leaders are a blessing to your life for the following reasons. They equip you for the work of the ministry; and edify, build up or make the Church stronger and more effective. Leaders speak the truth in love.

We are a Church of hungry people. We welcome those burning with a passion for more and those filled with the Holy Spirit. We welcome those willing to grow and willing to go.

We welcome people who have visions, dreams, desires, call, burdens, potential and bursting with destiny.

We believe our ministry was designed with you in mind.
